Both SMS and WhatsApp offer secure messaging options, but WhatsApp is generally considered to be the more secure option. It uses the same encryption standard employed by online banks, and it’s more difficult for someone to intercept your messages without the proper permissions. SMS messages can be intercepted and read relatively easily, so if security is a primary concern, WhatsApp is the better choice.
