Recovery after being part of the UFC is generally similar to that of any other full contact sport. The focus is on rest, nutrition and increasing flexibility, mobility, strength and conditioning. Depending on the athlete and their specific needs, they may also pursue therapeutic modalities such as cryotherapy, massage therapy, and acupuncture to speed up recovery. However, it is important that athletes also get ample rest and have a consistent sleep schedule to ensure their body can fully recover so they can perform at their best.
