Kanye West recently announced that he has changed his name to Ye, which comes from the times of his spiritual awakening and has been explained by him as “the being, the higher self, the god, the old me before the fame and money.” In essence, the new name is a reminder of his spiritual journey, the concept of self-betterment, and an acceptance of his higher self.
