I dislike that there is too much emphasis on promotion, showmanship, and entertainment rather than on the technical aspects of fighting. It often feels like the focus is on making the event more ‘marketable’ rather than putting together competitive fights that the fans want to see. This results in some lackluster match-ups and performances which can be disappointing. Additionally, I dislike some of the excessive trash talking that has become a major part of the sport. It can be disrespectful to the fighters and I don’t think it adds anything meaningful to the fight.
