Becoming a UFC fighter is an incredibly difficult endeavor, but not an impossible one. The first step is to get trained by a certified Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) school or gym, which will help you understand the basic concepts and techniques of MMA. The next step is to start competing in amateur MMA tournaments and to build up a record of victories. When you have a record of success, look for professional organizations and promotions in which you can fight. Build your reputation and be sure to follow the UFC’s Athlete Code of Conduct. Once you’re noticed, you’ll be invited to compete in the UFC.
