Craig Jones is a 27-year-old Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) athlete. He was born in 1992. In 2018, he became the first American to win the World Jiu-Jitsu Senior Championships.
Before becoming a champion, he was a police officer in his hometown of Belleville, Illinois. He quickly gained attention for his raw athleticism and dedication to BJJ, eventually making the jump to the highest levels of competition.
In the professional Jiu-Jitsu circuit, he has made a name for himself as a master competitor. He has won over 40 tournaments since starting his competitive Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2014.
In 2019, he represented the United States at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, where he took home a silver medal.
In addition to competing, Jones is an active coach, training students of all levels both online and in person with his international team, Dominate BJJ. He is also the founder and CEO of major gear and apparel company, Gamma Jiu-Jitsu.
