UFC rankings are based on a fighter’s recent wins and losses and their position in the respective divisions. Fighters must have participated in the UFC at least three times in the last 45 days to be eligible for a ranking. A fighter’s win-loss record, duration of win-streaks and recent fights are all taken into account. UFC rankings are updated following each event, with fighters moving up or down the rankings depending on their performance. The UFC also has an independent ranking system where fighters are ranked based on an in-depth analysis and evaluation of their skills and potential.
